Situated just 10 minutes from the Cape Town city center, Mowbray combines aspects of links and parklands-style course to create a demanding par 72 layout. The seven-time host of the South African Open, the greens at Mowbray have recently been upgraded to attain the same pristine standard of the fairways. As with most Western Cape courses, the wind in summer adds an extra element to consider, but the course is as enjoyable as it is tricky.
