Founded in 1960, this parkland, 9-hole golf course is exceptionally picturesque, with views of the Paardeberg and Table Mountains. Malmesbury Golf Club is certainly one of the best 9 hole courses in the Western Cape, with its kikuyu fairways and bent-grass greens. There are plans afoot to change this golf course into an 18-hole course. While it may sound a bit of a trek to dive out to Malmesbury Golf Club, it rally isn’t. Just take the N7 out of Cape town and you will be there in 30 minutes. It’s for these reasons that Malmesbury Golf Club remains a favourite amongst locals and Capetonians. Read more
